A Ceremony of Christmas

Join us for a joyful and festive Christmas concert featuring Britten’s celebrated A Ceremony of Carols with guest harpist Erica Goodman, Poulenc’s Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël, and Louis Applebaum’s Carols of French Canada.
A new seasonal piece by author Sarah Henstra and artistic director Henry Renglich will also be premièred.
The evening will conclude with traditional carols and a lively audience singalong — the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

Celebrate the big band era with a lively evening of music by Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington, the Gershwins and more.
A classic lineup of saxes, trumpets, trombones, bass, drums and piano will be led by Juno award-winning drummer Ernesto Cervini.
Featuring solos, duets, ensembles and the full choir, this concert promises a rousing evening of toe-tapping, hum-along fun!
World Beloved: A Celebration of Women Composers

Delight in our celebration of women composers. The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass, composed by Carol Barnett, blends traditional mass movements with the sparkle of bluegrass ballads and instruments.
Works by other contemporary women composers, including Canadians Ruth Watson Henderson and Eleanor Daly, will be featured.
Songs composed by ECC performer Lauren Halász and arranged by Colin McMahon will be showcased. The evening culminates in the lively and humorous When I Become an Old Woman by Sherry Blevins.
